Red Cars
I began this project back in the late 90's when I was studying photography at the Glasgow School of Art. One day I noticed four red cars coincidentally parked next to each other. I have been documenting this occurence ever since.

Mannequin (Refusing to avoid reflection)
I used to live in an area of Berlin which was also home to quite a few shops featuring mannequins in their window displays. I became fascinated by how the streetscape would be partially reflected in the glass in front of the dummies. From certain viewpoints the distinction of what was inside and outside of the window would become blurred and a new scene could be created. I find the resulting images both surreal, eerie and perhaps also a bit disturbing. The dreamlike structure of these are a combination of portraiture, cityscape and collage.
